​A VETERINARY COMPANION ANIMAL DERMATOLOGY REFERRAL SERVICE OPERATING IN WELLINGTON/TE WHANGANUI-A-TARA.


This practice is devoted solely to the diagnosis and treatment of ear and skin diseases in companion animals, ​
Animal Dermatology New Zealand is dedicated exclusively to the diagnosis and treatment of allergic disease and other disorders of the skin, ears, hair and nails. Some of these disorders include infectious and parasitic diseases, systemic diseases, immune system and autoimmune disorders, hormonal disorders and neoplastic diseases.

Centralising our services at this location allows us to offer a more consistent and streamlined experience for both you and your pet. By focusing our care in one clinic, we can ensure the highest standards of treatment while maintaining the personalised support you’ve come to expect.

Our new operating hours as of Thursday 1 May will be as follows:
Mondays: 9 am to 5 pm
Tuesdays: 11 am to 7 pm
Wednesdays: 11 am to 7 pm
Thursdays 9 am to 5 pm

SERVICES OFFERED BY ANIMAL DERMATOLOGY NZ

Diagnosis of the causes of skin disease, including itching due to allergy and other causes
Diagnostic tests, including but not limited to: cytology, skin scrapings, trichograms, biopsy/histopathology, culture and susceptibility testing.
Intradermal and/or serologic testing to identify aeroallergens causing symptoms in patients with diagnosed environmentally-induced atopic dermatitis
Treatment of skin disease based on international protocols

Immunotherapy (allergy shots or allergy drops) to treat environmentally-induced atopic dermatitis
Diagnosis and treatment of paw and claw disease as well as diseases of the coat (pelage)

Diagnosis and management of immune-mediated skin disease
